BEFORE MODELING:

Growing up, I always wanted to work with animals. I had dreams of being a zookeeper and educational trainer. After graduating from university, I secured a job and found myself working with all kinds of mammals, hoof stock, birds, and reptiles. We trained rescued animal ambassadors for educational shows and programs throughout the state of Florida. I really loved that job and still have a huge passion for sharing and educating people about all of the Earth’s amazing animals.

Somewhere along the way I stumbled into modeling part-time, which quickly turned into full time…

HEY THERE, I’M JULANA.

• I work in the entertainment industry as a model, on camera talent, and content creator.

• I am a Canadian born Filipina-American.

• I grew up in Sarasota, Florida.

• Before modeling, I worked with animals!

• I began my modeling career in 2013 and have travelled all over the USA and Internationally for different lifestyle, travel, and fitness jobs.

• In 2016 I moved to Los Angeles, CA to expand my career.

MODELING AS A CAREER:

Since leaving my “real job” and deciding to be a freelance model (a very scary move for anyone in the industry!) I have been extremely lucky to have worked consistently from year to year and for some of my favorite companies. I began my career in Florida, shooting for department stores, E-Comm clients, and catalogs. In 2015, I signed a 3 month contract with Cover Model Management in Cape Town, South Africa - where I booked my first TV commercial. Shortly after, I made the big move to Los Angeles, CA and grew my career to include fit & fitness modeling, as well as on camera work in TV Commercials, Spokesperson, and TV Hosting.
