Sara Mayer leads with passion, coaches with purpose and inspires others to achieve goals!
Sara has facilitated workshops and presented motivational programs to hundreds of organizations and individuals nationwide. She engages the audience and inspires them to dream big and achieve big, but most importantly teaches the systems to get S*%t done.
Community Impact
Sara has impacted the community through her leadership and service for many years as an active board member for multiple nonprofits. Most notably, Sara also recently founded, and serves as President for Joyride Society, a nonprofit giving circle. She led the group through the 501c (3) approval process and soft launch. The Joyride Society has already become a trendy, fun and exciting new non-profit to hit Phoenix. Â
 Sara’s dedication to building the capacity of community through organizational development is evident in her volunteer work outside of her full-time employment, which includes work with the following non-profit organizations as President: Girls on the Run Serving Maricopa & Pinal Counties, ResilientMe and the Junior League of Phoenix Foundation. Additionally, through Valley Leadership, her group project included establishing a 501(c)3 for 19 North, a neighborhood urban planning and revitalization effort.
Sara has been a licensed foster parent for two years to a teen daughter through Casey Family Programs. She is a strong advocate for youth experiencing foster care and trauma.
Professional & Personal Impact
Professionally, Sara spent 16 years as a higher education administration professional at the forefront of operational and transformational culture change. Currently, she serves as the Director of Operations for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) for four chapters in the Southwest. Her success in higher education operations and her passion for the community were a natural fit for a transition to LLS, an organization she volunteered with for 15 years. She also serves as a new business Mentor for entrepreneurs in the Seed Spot program. Â
Sara lives life to the fullest and enjoys running, cycling, reading and vacationing.
