All Star Dietitian
At National Nutrition Associates, we believe that nutrition information should be tailored to your individual needs and food preferences. Together we will develop an individualized plan that will fit your lifestyle and personal goals. Nutrition is not a “one size fits all” meal plan, it’s so much more!
Individual Nutrition Coaching
You will meet one-on-one with your Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, in-person or virtually, to discuss your needs.
Initial sessions are comprehensive and typically take about 60-75 minutes in length. We will discuss your full health history including medical conditions, training schedule, eating preferences and schedules and develop a plan that will work for you.
Follow up sessions are 30-45 minutes and will be spent discussing nutrition topics in depth, how you are progressing and what changes need to be made.
We ask that our All Star clients prepare to follow the recommended frequency of follow up provided by your RDN. Nutrition interventions take time and will not happen in one to two visits. Most of our clients work with us at a minimum of 6 months.
Team & Group Nutrition Coaching
Our expert RDNs can bring nutrition coaching to your team or group.
Group Body Image Workshops
This is a group-based program is designed to challenge the thin ideal and offer a safe space to explore how we feel about our bodies. Through group discussions, home-based assignments and verbal exercises, we will learn how to combat the unrealistic beauty ideals and help to develop a better relationship with our bodies. Our curriculum follow The Body Project script and is research-based. The Body Project scripts have proven to prevent eating disorders, disordered eating and body dissatisfaction in women. It has been extensively researched with high school and college women and is backed by the National Eating Disorder Association, NEDA.
Danielle Alder is a trained facilitator for The Body Project. The Body Project is ideal for ages 13+ who do not already have an eating disorder but may be at risk to explore the societal pressures of beauty and the thin-ideal.
Diabetes Classes & Workshops
We can provide in-person and online support groups and classes for Diabetes Education. We are trained facilitators of the Healthy Interactions US Diabetes Conversation Map curriculum.
